Building successful relationships in life and business is what matters most to Scott. For 25 years, the seed business has enabled him to develop strong relationships across the industry. The experiences of brands and business structures from small, regional companies to large, multi-national corporations, have given him insights into what matters most. Growing up on a family farm near Waverly, Nebraska, gave Scott his passion to serve an industry he cares greatly about. Upon receiving his B.A. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Scott joined the seed industry as a District Sales Manager for Golden Harvest Seeds. Over his career, Scott has enjoyed roles in sales management, professional training and development, general management, and strategic marketing.
Katie is passionate about helping others succeed. At Epiphium, she wakes up every day excited to uncover new ideas to help companies and brands do just that. Throughout her career Katie has worked in both the corporate and startup realms, while also having the privilege of working alongside independent seed brands for a decade. She now puts her 20 years of sales, marketing, and communication experience to work helping companies navigate the complexities of markets, gain valuable insights into their own businesses, and create and implement strategic plans that will carry their brands into the future. Katie holds a B.A. in communication from Truman State University and an MBA from Saint Louis University.
Ryan is a global seed industry veteran with over 25 years of commercial experience. He has worked in agronomy, product management, marketing, strategy, business development, and general management. Ryan brings a unique blend of analytical skills and creativity to help companies build systems that scale, clarify strategy, and put it into action. He has experience in the US and around the world in a variety of commercial roles at global leaders Bayer and Corteva, General Manager at family-owned Latham Hi-Tech Seeds, and COO at ag tech start-up GreenLab.
